turbos kits on n/a cars are usaully pretty picky, and take a lot of work to get it running well, and get it well tuned. i've seen one guy in a subaru go through and engine or two because of bad detonation on his turbo'd RS. Most newer n/a motors have a higher compression, which makes running lotsa boost dangerous. Most factory turbo'd cars have a lower compression, to jam in tons of boost, the compression on my motor is only 8:1, one reason for the complete lack of low end grunt (read, absolutly nothing until 2000 rpm)
