To the Superchips question:

He has the chips in stock. He dials up Superchips and downloads the software for your computer code. He burns the chip with it and runs a baseline. That is where Superchips and Cerra Racing differ. They would mail it at this point, and he would tune it. He starts to make changes to your AF curve and timing, tip-in retard, etc. and then calls up Superchips, has the programmer make the appropriate changes to the software for him (superchips does not sell or produce software so that you can change the params yourself) and save the file. He then downloads the new file to the computer and re-burns your chip. This process repeats until you get max power. That's why Superchip's programmed Cougar chip made about 7 hp and his made 16 hp.
