There were turbo Escorts, but not Tempos in the 80's.

The V6 in the 92-94 Tempos was the Taurus Vulcan, which was the basis for the Yamaha used for the SHO.

The quality of the Temp-az made Contours look like luxury cars.

There's also that Topaz SHO that was posted a few weeks ago ... (really; not rice!!) I saw the vids showing its speed ... very fast!

This article, though a repost, still shows the more dangerous effects of street racing. Imagine being relatives of the Mustang driver/passenger - would you mourn them or hate them for doing such a stupid thing?

Why would any1 race on in daytime(or anytime) on a residential road? I can understand racing up to driving speed on a main road, but not seriously racing on a road that has a 30 mph limit or less. Keep it on the highway late,late,late at nite. Some of us don't have tracks or money for non-road high speeds.
