OK, I'll admit it! I'm plugging the meet shamelessly. All you people on the fence dithering whether or not to go, just GO! Do what it takes, offer to work weekends for the boss, stay late, come in early, beg plead for the vacation time... It is SO worth it.
Distance? Whatever! I'm driving over 900 miles! Contours are great long distance traveling cars. I should know, I've put a ton of miles on mine. Keeping miles off? Then what's the point of having a car? A car (especially the Contour/Mystique) is MADE to be driven.
Let's get everyone down to Dallas for the National Meet, these events are total riots, and I want to meet and see everyone! (Please don't use that as a reason to run screaming
