I agree, our cars are not the best, but just because you have a BMW (worked for it or not)it is no reason to put all other cars down. Too many people put cars down because they are a Ford, etc just because they have a more expensive car. It is all about status.

LoCoZetecSE, i have to disagree with you, you said people put down ford because its a lower class car, but thats actually not why...as we all know, ford does suck....i love my svt, when its running, i loved my stang, when it was running, and i loved my SHO, when it was running....Found On Roadside Dead....very true...you cant find too many cars that look better than the ford sports cars...but about a million that run better..but i also agree about the mitsu's, i have a buddy with a GTX, and he is in the middle of a lawsuit with mitsu because of trans problems he has had with his car....

Ford is the average man's car. BMW is for the upper-class people. You're comparing apples to oranges.
Actually, BMW owners here aren't bad. It's the damn Jaguar drivers.

Aw common, don't diss the Jag drivers, you know that they are just wealthier Contour drivers!!  BTW I have been tossed between the X-Type and the S4. Any feedback on these? Also I have test driven both and the S4 rocks and the X-Type is soft cushy but launches like the SVT.

if my friend wasnt a mechanic at an audi dealership and didnt tell me how ****ty those cars are i would of been driving one before ive seen the svt..., i love the s4 but he does work with those cars every day and told me the problems theve've had.. but then again look at the crap ive been through

I haven't really had any problems with my car. My dad had a 91' Mustang GT and had no problems. He now has a 97' Expedition and has had no problems. Yes, Fords may have more recalls but so do others. Only reason people make a big deal is because of the whole Firestone/Explorer incident. I've heard horror stories with cars other than Fords. I guess you get what you get when you buy a car.
