I have had all 4 doors done, but not at the same time. I had two done at once, and it took a day. The prices are reasonable, and with all 4 done at once, it will probably be cheaper, however, I don't want to speak for them.

'96 has rust in the same area. I talked to a very respected body shop owner and he said not to worry, and bring it in in two years. they did clean and repaint the trunk lid because there it is easier for the rust to go outside.

And here I was thinking I had the only rusty Contour around and was emabarrased to tell anyone. I have a 98 and I got them bubbles, too, but haven't attempted a fix. Looks like I better. Glad to hear I am not alone.

I have a '95, and I spent a couple of days grinding around the seam to remove ALL rust, then coated with Rust Check, then paint. One winter later, it's back. I suspect the rust is coming from within, through the seam. I bet the inside of the door is ugly! I'm going to pump oil into every door. That might help. Oh, and btw, there's no silicon bead on '95s as someone had mentioned.

i have the same thing happening to me but only on the front doors.

Well, I beg to differ, I was just looking at it today on my grandfather's '95 Mystique. It's there.

mine is there...NO rust at all!!!!!11
