Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that there will be a car show at Harper College in Palatine on Sunday, August 26. It will be in parking lot number 3, near the Roselle Rd entrance.

First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded for the following classes:

Stock: 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
Modified: 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
Classic: 59 and below
Hot Rod: open class
Import: open
Truck: open
Motorcycle: open

There will also be Best Of Show awards for Ford, Dodge, Pontiac, Motorcycles, Imports, and a $200 Grand Prize.

Vehicles must be registered by 10:30 am on the day of the show, and judging begins at noon. The show begins at 10am.

Registration to compete in the show is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the show. You can register early online here , or send money to:

Exotic Coach Limosines is sponsoring the show, and will display a 20 passenger Hummer and 16 passenger Navigator. I know the owner of that company and intend to be at the show. There will be plenty of free food and entertainment from several DJ's.

I am getting my seat customized so that they are more like my old 97 also. These new post-'98 seats are too hard on my back.

so since you know one of the guys, one of us that might put our cars in the show have ummm an "advantage" right?

I am goin and entering my car. It is way to close to my house not to go.

Probably not, but now i don't even know if i will have the car by the time of the show. Some guy is extremly interested in my car and is coming to look at tomarrow night.
He called me out of know where.

cool i think we can make this a meet,, i know if i can find this place i will be there and i know ron and vad will also go,,anybody know an easy way of getting there,, and yes i know about mapquest.
