hey rainshdw what size tires do u have again,,, i think im about to get some 18s and im wondering if they might rub,, i know charile has 18s,,, ill get the size of the tires by tommarrow,,, im getting them at a great price so i dont want to pass it up

I am not sure how your wheel well looks but if it is close or the same as the SVT you are not going to be ok unless it is 215/40R18 and even then it is not perfect. Since the last meet I have taken my back wheels off and used tin snips to cut out some of my plastic wheel well and also used a power sander to shave the fender lips in about 1/2 an inch. It was about a 3 hour job and the result is now I can put people in the back and haven't rubbed at all since.
I was so happy, but before that the fender lip was cutting up my tires when I would hit a bump and rub the inside of the wheel well. But my car was dropped also and that i am sure that didn't help. If you get 18's just be prepared to maybe work on the wheel wells a little.

How much would you want for your "old" 15" rims, Kevin?
I was thinking of getting a different set of Ford 15" rims, second hand.
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

zetecguy im backing out of the 18s i think they will end up being a pain in the a$$ but i am going to get some different rims soon,, i will let u kno when i get the new ones,, and i will give them to u at a great price,, i just dont know how much yet

Dom...get 17's...18's handling charateristics aren't as good as 17's, the ride will be much harsher on 18's. BECAUSE...if you get 18's you'll have to plus size to at least 40 to get them to fit. You haven't lowered it yet right? So 18's may "Look" cool and might not rub even if you take that lip off but if you have any plans on lowering it, I would stick with the 17's. Are you going to autocross it???

BTW...man I'm pissed!!!!!!! yesterday I was on 94, going North on to 173...as I came through the toll-booth, I put my 75 cents in, the pole lifted up and I went through...as I was going through the GD pole came slamming down on my car...anyway after that a varible palethera of profanities came out of my mouth. It scratched the trunk lid pretty good and the left roof line too. Good thing I'm planning on repainting it soon. oh and I'll show you my pics of that next meet. actually I could email them to you.
Anyway, sorry I didn't get back sooner.
