Being the guy that is putitng this together I ll answer some questions. When you show up at the track tell them you are with Midwest Racing for Contour VS. Grand Am challenge. Try to sow up around 11:00-11:30 so you can get a few runs in so you have some time slips so that we can put you in a class. The racing will be heads up. Plan on spending some time at the track that day. As I said before I will be giving certificates to the winner of each class so be prepared to give me your mailing address if you win. As it stands right now I am expecting at least 10-12 Grand Ams to show up. I am allowing cars built on similar chassis to compete. This means Aleros, Cougers, Skylarks, and the likes will be allowed to run. We have one Contour and two Cougers in the club and 7-8 Grand Ams. I will be meeting with Black98SVT shortly to finalize the rules for this challenge. So nows the time to start checking in and let us know your coming. I look forward to making new friends and having some fun racing. Hopefully this can go well enough that we can make this a yearly event and make some noise for small/compact AMERICAN made cars.
