I got the same problem with my 18" axis sevens. I got the wilwood kit and in needs 3 or 4 mm to clear. I found a 5mm spacer from H&R it comes with longer studs too, but I don't know where to get the studs install since I do not have the tools for that kind of job.

about grinding the caliper I do not want to put at risk the integrity of the caliper.
I order the 17" FSVT wheels from bat for winter and they clear fine. Erick from BAT test fit them for me. They were $540 for all 4
