If you guys are reccomending between $10K and $11K for a '98.5 CSVT w/78,xxx miles on it, why am I having so much trouble selling my '98 CSVT w/106,xxx miles, for 9K?

I don't get it...

I think that $10-$11k is way high for the miles. I think $8-$9k is more like it. Sorry Tommy, but you've been *****ing about lots of problems lately with your car, and you clearly ride it very hard (judging by your drag racing stories and past trans problems). And quite frankly, I don't understand the point of upgrading to a 2000 SVT. For what you are spending, you are not really getting an upgrade over what you currently have. The cheapest car to drive is the one you already own.

I'm at 84K on my E1, and I think I would be lucky to get $7-$8k if I were to sell it. Just an opinion.

Consumer Rated Condition: Good
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. The paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. In states where rust is a problem, this should be very minimal, and a deduction should be made to correct it. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A clean title history is assumed. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail; however major reconditioning should be deducted from the value. Most recent model cars owned by consumers fall into this category.

Private Party Value $8,695
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

IMO after 90k on a car, not that many people are interested in it. I myself would scared of bad problems starting to happen. I'd only buy a car with that many miles for the ****er laugh

Personally I think you guys are selling your cars for a little too much. I just sold my 98.5 CSVT with 26,000 miles on it for 12,500. And that took a while. I would lower the price unless your not in a hurry to sell.
