Nope 2 day trip (1115 miles). About a 16 hour drive if your taking your time. I was born in Dallas. Made a few trips between the 2 with my mom in the summer time when I was young.

You can do it in one day. I've driven between Dallas and Cincinnati in one day a few times and it's about a 16 hour trip. Of course this is non stop driving and I've even done it on my own. Just get plenty of sleep and lots of coffee.

What? Do you drive for pretty short periods of time? That should be no more than a 2 day drive.
