Salvage Auction Record Vehicles classified as "totaled" by insurance companies are often sold at auction to be reconstructed and put back on the road.
Salvage/Junk Title States issue salvage titles when an insurance company takes possession of a vehicle as a result of a claim. This generally occurs after a vehicle has been declared a total loss. States issue junk titles to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state
It says at the end. The sales guy told me that it was stolen, and all stolen vehicals have salvage titles on it. Looks like the thing was stolen from the dealership and driven 5 miles, cause that's when it was registered as a salvage. They are asking 12K for it and it has 35,000 miles on it now. Book is 19K but that title really hurts the re sale.
