Hasek is probably the best goalie of the last 25 years. His stats weren't up to his usual pace, but they were still near the top of the league, he is far from overated. He had a bad 2nd game and gave up a soft goal in the first game. In game 3, he was back to normal form. I think the wings defensive style isn't real conducive to good goal tending. Getting to face 14-20 shots a game never allows a goalie to get into a rythym.

The wings have definitely NOT mortgaged their future. They have loads of young talent that is being allowed to develop slowly. Besides, they are practically the Yankees of the NHL, they will just continue to reload.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as frustrated as anybody, but there are too many Detroit fans giving up way too early.

Saying Bowman should be fired is one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever read. At least wait until the lose the series before giving up hope on them. Bowman is the best coach in hockey history and has won with every style of hockey around.
