Varsity is awful. My mom got the worst service there.

Jack Demmer sucks- the salesman I (briefly) delt with there was rude.

Blackwell Ford in plymouth is great. Haven't had a bad experience there yet.

Haha, thanx Ry... I installed it and what a piece of cake!! I don't know what everyone has so much trouble with!! It took me a little less than 30 min to do the whole thing, and that included taking it back appart to dissconnect the spring to try it that way (BTW, when you get one, don't even bother trying it with the spring first... next time I see you, you've got to feel this thing!). Anyway, Dean Sellers seems damn good... I think in a couple of weeks I am going to have them take care of my stupid rust.

HOW DO YOU DIAGNOSE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH SECONDARIES... they died on me on the freeway on my way back from Dearborn yesterday!!!!!!! What a pig these cars are with out them! I went and grabbed a bite to eat afterwards and when I got back in my car, it has worked fine ever since. I thought I felt it jerking in and out the other day, but I thought it was just my mind messing with me... for SURE though yesterday they weren't opening. What the hell is up with that?! I have a little warranty left on the car, so I NEED to act fast!

Well, I know this is a little northward for some of you, but if you're in the Howell/Brighton area, I wouldn't go to Krug...had crappy luck with them on numerous times on my moms 99 Taurus (they took out the seats one time and put them on the roof, making DENTS in it!!) and they took a week on a simple trunk release problem on my 'Tour that they said would take a day.

If you live further south and to the east, my dad has had EXCELLENT luck with his 00 Taurus at the dealership in Plymouth where he works...can't think of the name off the top of my head right now...it MIGHT be McDonald??

Black on Black - if you ever need anything at Demmer, ask to talk to Jim Demmer and tell him Seth sent you. Same thing at Sellers - ask for Dean Jr and tell him Seth sent you. They will both hook you up every time.

yes, I know them. They sponsor the local SVTOA and I have gotten to know them pretty well in the last year or so. I have used both dealerships for various things.

Well, the body shop guy quoted me about $160 to fix that little spot... not that it's a big deal, but that does seem a little steep to me  What shal I do about it? Do I just roll in the door, ask for Dean Jr. and tell him that I know Seth and he will just hook me up?

Tell him you know me and you heard through SVTOA that he was a good dealer to go to. Then you start thinking about joining the club (all Ford vehicles are welcome!). ;-)

Remember that he is part of a business. They need to make money - so nothing will be free. It is usually a discount on parts, but the car will be taken care of and it will be done right. I had my Ranger rear 1/4 panel and tailgate replaced & painted there about 2 years ago and it looked great.
