Just bought myself a 98' SE V6 5-Speed as a lot of you already know... and I was looking at it very closely yesterday and noticed that on the rear, drivers side door where the door and the window frame meet in that bottom front corner under the rubber window weatherstripping there is RUST!!! It is just a little bit, but that's NOT good and I am NOT happy as my car is practicaly NEW. Anyway, supposidly there is a 5 year warranty for this and I want to know which is the best dealership as far as body work goes in the SE MI area. I know that Varsity in AA doesn't have a good rep. So does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone else have good feelings on these dealerships? Any others that might be good for me?

I agree with Dean Sellers. I've never had a problem with them. Actually I'm taking the car in tomorrow. Hey Don, did you make up your mind on the short shifter? laugh

I was pleased with the job Fairlane did on my tour.

I'm willing to bet 80% (if not more) of ALL car salesmen don't know what they're selling. Doesn't matter what make/brand they work for.

I went up to Dean Sellers yesterday and they told me that the little "rust" crap on my car is not going to be covered by warranty but he'd hook me up and take care of me. Said that it would only be about 150 or so and that includes a new window seal. He also said that it would just be a day's job. Really nice there... I would like to see their work, but the guy sounded very re-assuring about it. Ry, not sure man... still can't decide!! I might do it today just to try it for a minute or two, but I am not sure about the bushing or retainer? thing that might brake? Kinda scaring me away for just doing the job to "try" it out type of thing.
