this is also why I've been hesitant to dump tons of money into performance mods, seeing the results of others. Some even lose horsepower! I enjoy the stock performance of the SVT, I can't justify spending 3-6K to add 20 HP and go from mid 15s stock to low 14s.
Modding for looks and modding car audio (all I've done so far) are things that I feel I "get my money's worth". I feel like if I had gone all performance mods I would be left feeling empty as no one has even run a high 13 second quarter mile yet...
But back to the actual topic at hand I'm keeping my SVT, I think in 10 years after an engine swap it will be a car looked back on that was "overlooked" and "under rated". I'm going to pay it off, then get another car. Then my SVT will be a weekend driver, if I can stand to leave it in the morning
