Money is not an option Dr. Haines laugh

BTW, a Lotus Espirit is what I am looking at right now. The Jag and Hummer dealer on 28th Street currently has one on their lot. I will have to swing by your shop for sure Terry. smile

I miss the thrust and sound of a good V-8, but I like my contour, especially after getting 17" wheels on it.

I might go to the 3 liter and then I probably would never sell it.

I hardly see contours and people love my car, I like it a lot, but dont love it.

I hardly see any around the cincinnati area.

If these idiots require a car to be sub 13 or 14 or whatever in the 1/4 before they even look at it, that is a prime reason (for me anyway) NOT to get to SVT to run those times.

The last thing I want to see is a bunch of Civic owners buying Contour's and slapping yellow park benches on the trunklid and NOS stickers everywhere.

Screw 'em if they don't give the Contour props.
We know and thats all that matters.

What's shameful ?? My opinion or the fact that people laugh at Alfa's & Renault's ?

Let's be honest, in most cases it's not a matter of genetalia or intestinal fortitude. Americans have the attention spans of gnats, and after 3-5 years want something new and different. Not necessarily better, but new and different.

I'm planning on keeping Ross until he dies, and friends have joked that I would be buried in it.

Personal opinion, if you enter price/value in the equation, the SVT Contour still represents the closest thing to the perfect no-compromises car sold in America in my realm of expertise.
