I'm going to need a new clutch, pressure plate etc. Hes ordering directly from ford. I mentioned that I might want to upgrade my clutch and the mechanic just kept trying to talk me out of it saying that the hydraulic system will not withstand a performance clutch. The whole job is going to cost me $1090. Should I have him cancel the order on the parts and get my own and just have him install for me? What do you guys think??

Thanks
Brian

Go to Terry. He'll do it right with or without the stock parts. A performance clutch won't hurt anything, don't listen to his BS. Call Terry about price, he might be able to do better.
