I have the camera in the grille, it's a color weatherproof bullet cam, I got mine from http://www.cctvwholesalers.com
I built a (fused, of course) 12V power supply for it right off the battery and fished a video cable through the firewall.
Not too hard, but since the "attachments" will run around $200, you can't really just pull out the camcorder and try it.

Wow, in a way I'm GLAD I didn't go- it would have been too embarassing to show up in my 7+ year-old, unwashed, visually-unmodified broke-ass student car (aka my '95 SE) still on its hideous snow tires... all those SVT's would have made my blush.
