So......
Anyone else have this problem?

I'm taking my freinds keys back to him and I'm in a parking lot on a slight incline. I pull the parking brake and get out to hand him his keys. MY CAR STARTS TO ROLL DOWN THE HILL. I sprint after it and get in in time to slow it before it hits a red ZX2. I have a huge hole in my front bumper. So my question is.....are Tour E-brakes ****? What the hell happened? The only thing I can guess is that it wasn't pulled ALL the way, but what the hell?!?!
My car is toast.....I think I'm going to firebomb it.

Thank GOD for insurance these days!

Luckily, I wasn't in the car and the car was officially parked.
I basically told the insurance comapany that someone hit my car from the front, moving the car out of the parking spot on the street.

The police department confirmed this because no one seen exactly what happened - all the witnesses seen was a car rolling backwards down a hill, smashing into a light pole.

Semi common Contour problem. Their is a revised ebrake cable that I have installed. Check the FAQ's on this. Your ebrake most likely is grabbing.
