I figured I would change them today. Should I go with Motorcraft or something different. How about NGK's?

Even in Stock Class, There Are Ways to Get an Edge on the Competition

Spark Plugs
We also did quite a bit of testing with spark plugs on a...twin-cam Neon. At the end of one frustrating day, we learned that, on a Neon anyway, spark plugs don't make a bit of difference.
We ran the car first with the NGK plugs that had been installed since we took delivery of the Neon several years ago. We then tested the car with a variety of supposedly "better" plugs-hotter, colder, split electrode, pointy electrode. (No matter what your poison, good plugs cost less than a couple of bucks each.) In this case, all of them produced roughly the same power: within one horsepower, plus or minus.
Unfortunately, this was two horsepower shy of where we started with the skanky factory plugs. The skanky factory plugs were quickly reinstalled. Our dyno shop swears by NGK plugs.
So, not sure if that's a plug for NGK plugs, or for OEM plugs, since the Neon in the story had OEM NGK's.

HTH.

I have Autolite Double Plats in my Zetec and they're great. I'd recommend those if you have the Zetec, but I would shy away from the Platinum +4 plugs. I've heard alot of talk about them frying the ignition system and burning the plugs!

SVT owners complain about Bosch Plat+4, but I have them in my Integra and they work great. But I hear good things about AutoLite Plat, so try those.

I installed autolite double platinum. Be sure to gap your plugs before installation. The reason that I installed double platinum is because they are supposed to last longer. It is a good idea to add a little silicone dielectric grease to the inside of the spark plug boot. Most parts stores have silicone dielectric grease but it is expensive. The silicone dielectric grease keeps the rubber spark plug boot from sticking to the spark plug. It also keeps water from getting inside the spark plug boot and creating a short to ground.
