i am in georgia right now for 2 weeks on business, last week and this next week. but anyway, i went to daytona beach for the weekend to see some friends and drove back up to georgia today. i got 2 speeding tickets. first was 91 in a 70, the second was 76 in a 55. two 21 over in 2 hours. i'm a dumb ass... i can't wait to pay the fines for these. the first ticket was crap though. the cop pulled 4 of us over at the same time... F**K Georgia state cops, although it was my fault...

Oh man that stinks. I am headed to Daytona in the spring. I see GA cops like to pull over T-red SVTs with Rims and tint...I am in trouble

just be careful, especially if you're goin down I-95... they like to chill in between all the trees so you can't see them. my radar detector is pretty damn good, but still went off too late where they were hiding.. on the other hand, spring break in daytona is bad ass. my friend says its just bumpin every night down there for like a month and a half. theres a lot of cool bars and clubs down there...

no I usually don't drive 21 over, especially right after I get pulled over...

they actually have some type of spring break nationals down in Daytona next month that is pretty tight with a lot of tight cars. drove down to miami in the SVT last year for spring break and we stopped there. it was hyped, not as tight as south beach though :p .

mcaram, i dont doubt what you're saying about georgia police, I was sh*tting bricks driving through there on a suspended license because there was all kind of speed traps. basically the whole stretch of 75 from Michigan to Florida is one big speed trap, I did not like that drive too much. didnt help that I drove 20 hours straight to get down there either. had to test the iron man skills. im going to stop talking now.

Well I am taking I-75 the whole way basically. There are tons of tight cars down there. They is this Exit in GA called Kensaw or something... Man it is the coolest place for cars. I have never seen so many tight cars in one spot! Yeah this year in Daytona will be cool. Nothing like Bumping up and down the beach while chicks hop in and out of your car... Ahhhhh Florida. Mabey thats why I am moving down there this summer.. NO more Snow for the SVT....
Thanks for the tip....You see any neon action going on down there? I dont want to get a huge ticket for having them on (under body)

i didnt see any neons down there, but i was in georgia during the day driving back. and there werent a lot of people in daytona, i guess its only a bash for like a month and a half when all the colleges have spring break. my boy down there says the best week is the week after msu's break. like 2 weeks into march... have fun and don't get pulled over.....

Well I am going the 3rd week in march. I guess it will be sweet. Thanks for the tips. Let me know what those fines are so I know what to expect if anything should happen.
