I may only be 18, but I was under the impression it was just better to find someone you could trust. I also thought that kinda came hand in hand with loving someone...? Oh jeez...if only I knew the truth!

I only date women who are attractive and have some type of brains. But, I know that we all go through trial and error in our lives, so I am no longer mad about the situation.
And the way we work together is interesting all together. Our current pilot project at our place of work allows us to travel around the world to different places evaluating our company processes. Even though my and Tiffany job title are Manufacturing Engineer's, our current job duties are continuous improvement engineers.
We dont see each other on a daily basis because she lives in Scottsdale, AZ and obviously I live here in Michigan. And we also have our sites projects to attend to while we work on the road.

Mike I think that working with her is good. It's like....you and her dated, and had your differances with this. But since you work together, and both seemed to handle this in a very adult manor, whose to say what the future holds, ya know? Maybe you two can work past this if you choose to do so, but either way it doesn't seem to have affected your work and/or friendship. Very well done if I do say so myself!

Oh jeez...if only I knew the truth! the only people i completely trust are family... i will never, ever, trust a woman. not all are bad, alot are good... but its when you trust them the most, they do the most damage... everytime i relax, i get let down... maybe i just have bum luck, or just happen to date a bunch of whores... only thing i found out is, you can only push them so far... and once you cross that line, there ain't NO coming back.

Bret, You have very good advice! In my opinion you can't have a real relationship if you never actually trust the other person...? I realize you're a different person and think different ways than I do, but if I were to follow what was said....I'd be extremely unhappy.

I totally agree with Rye Lou, you need trust for a relationship to work. Yeah by trusting someone you can get hurt, but you have to take the chance. ****, you could get in a car accident (hopefully not!)one day...it may happen but you shouldn't avoid driving because something MAY happen. Hopefully that bad attempt at a metaphor gets my point across...
