if you do a search, you will see many many posts about that kit. there are also other companies in UK and Germany that make similar kits and various interior and engine mods.

the rear bumpers will need to be slightly modified to accomodate the "step" in our trunk lids. the Mondy trunk lid goes straight across. you could either graft the step from a Contour bumper or cut the extra metal on the trunk so it goes straight across.

the front bumpers should fit for the 98+ models, but you will have to shave some of the plastic "under-bumper" to accomodate the shallower Euro bumper cover. pre-98 cars will need modifications around the headlights to make the center grill insert work. and the hood from a pre-98 Mystique should mate with the euro grill insert without much extra work.

the projector headlights will *fit*, but the mounting points are in different places and would require some creative modifications to make them work on our cars. (in europe the headlights mount to the bumper, here they mount to the chasis).

side skirts will work without modification.

my 2 cents...

i didn't look at the pic, but if it's mondeo, then the headlights will not fit. They are not the same shape as the Contour. Though they look very similar, when put side by side with a Contour headlight, you can see the difference.

It's of no relevence, but what a sick friggin' kit! I want one... NOW!!!

I'm a high school student with little to no money. I have a 98 Contour SE w/ 2.5L 24v V6 w/ 100k miles. I'd like to make some cheap performance upgrades <$1000 or so. I only spent 4k on the car. Mainly, I HATE Honda Civics and I want to blow them away. I usually can anyways! Any suggestions please e-mail me. devonb_37@hotmail.com

If any of you are interested in buying this kit and putting a little work, bondo, and a little fiberglass to make it fit your car than by all means just visit http://www.prosport.uk.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=1123_21_27_86_1012.
The only thing is you have to find an online currency converter because all the prices are noted in British Pounds. Now that I know all it takes is bondo and fiberglass to make this kit fit a 'Tour I am most definately getting this kit.

P.S. Hey 98StockSE, you're right. This kit is friggin' sick. It will definately the best investment that I have ever made. cool eek laugh :p wink
