This morning on the way to work coming out of the tolls on the highway I saw this somewhat riced out Celica GTS tailgating and trying to cut around me before the lane merge. As I was accelerating fairly hard at the time he wasn't able to do it. There was a opening in the traffic to my right in the center lane, and I heard him nail it (definitely had intake work done). So I figure what the hell, lets have some fun and I downshifted to 2nd and gunned it. Shifted at redline at both the top of 2nd and 3rd. His car was definitely faster, but not by a whole lot. He was walking away from me, not running. Turns out he was chasing a Porsche Boxter and trying to prove his car worthy. The Porsche got caught behind slower moving traffic and the Celica thought it was smart to tailgate him about an inch off his bumper doing about 95MPH eek  I was right behind the Celica, but not tailgating like he was. I think he was surprised to see a black Ford sedan in his rearview that he couldn't shake laugh Anyway, these two clowns proceeded to weave in and out of very heavy rush hour traffic at 90+, which I found to be extremely foolish so I backed off. People forget that life isn't a video game.

I would have loved to have been in my Z06 on an open road with these two. laugh wink
