dude, you got the wrong idea about what is a ricer and what isn't. Just because something is a Japanese cardoesn't mean it's automatically rice. Rice is all the tacky poser crap people put on their cars, like the giant wing on the back that's supposed to look like a race car wing and does nothing but add drag on a street car. Stickers all over the car is typically considered ricey, especially if the products proclaimed on the car are not installed on it. Stuff like that.
There really are very few (but ignorant) folks that will not respect a tastefully done, and very fast import, whether it be a Honda Civic, or a Toyota Supra (though it takes a LOT of cash to make a civic fast in a straight line)
