I have been seriously looking at an NSX-T for awhile, but I cant see paying 50K for a car! And a brand new WRX is always ready to be driven off a dealers lot and I save alot of cash.
Now, the S4 is a done deal, but I am having second thoughts. Which one should I get?

S4 all the way. NSX is fun to play with but the S4 is fun to play with EVERYDAY of the year. The WRX is IMHO a stripped down S4...I'd pay the extra cash for the luxury difference between the S4 and WRX. Also with the WRX, they are becoming all to common now...seems to be the second coming of the Civic Si, every ricers new dream. Don't get me wrong, I like the WRX but it just does not compare to the S4 and their commonality hurts it's appeal IMHO...why do you think I chose the SVT laugh

For $25,000 I'd buy the WRX and take the rest of the money from buying the other (2) cars and mod it out and make it REAL fast. The commercial says that the WRX is already faster than the S4 from 0-60mph wink If money isn't an issue though the S4 has that level of re-finement that the WRX can't match, so I guess its what you want in a car

WRX without a doubt. roger has the right idea. australia has soooo many mods for this car it's crazy. Plus $US1 is wothr $AUS2, so your money goes twice as far over there. wink

Yeah, I have taken a look at one of my back issues from Sports Compact with the various WRX's. They had an insane WRX that was running 11's and 12's easily with the something like 25 psi of boost. 0-60 times were in the 4's - man I have to quit reading these magazines!

they're all excellent cars but remember how fast a chipped S4 is running. The NSX was actually the 1st car that came to mind when I saw that you were paying cash for your S4 though. I test drove a '94 NSX from Birmingham imports last year and fell in love with it. 65k miles and the dealer was talking in the $35,000 range. Driving it was unlike anything I've ever driven, the acceleration was damn near blistering and it had a decent level of refinement as well. Handled like crazy and didn't do too bad with the potholes on 14 Mile either.

but the body style is over 10 years old and the new model will be released within the next few years. but still, add a body kit and some new rims and that car still looks tight. Plus they're relatively a solid sports car, I read a few articles talking about the car's longevity if maintained right. If I were you I'd keep the SVT as your daily driver and get that NSX for play laugh. Either that or you could save 10 grand and get a Supra with 400+ hp...
