I should work for Mazda as much as I push that car! Most of us would rather have a car we can drive than a ?cute? car that we have to push.

Spammers will be dealt with very harshly!} ------- Moonlight Blue 1996 Mercury Mystique GS , Zetec engine, ATX. No mods. (Well, OK, one mod. Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios. I liked the Tempo's radio better. That counts as a mod, doesn't it? I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare. I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars. Does this count as a mod? If so, I guess I have two mods. Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)

Get your wife pregnant again. Then the Focus will be out of the question. (he already has two kids)
However if you warm up to the Focus it could be a "bonding experience" with the 12 year old.
Good luck!

Well, along the same line, my wife is now wanting a Red Jetta with the 17" wheel package, she's seen a few and now wants one. Never owned a VW before personally but I do like the Jettas overall. Maybe we'll go look at one this weekend...opinions?

That was the idea when it was built, and the reason for the fairly upright seating position. What it equals is somebody my size (6'2") having almost a half foot between my head and the roof. I was shocked the first time I saw the sedan in person because I parked the tour right next to it and it seemed to make the Focus look even taller. You get used to it after a few days.
