As far as the Dearborn/Plymouth caravan, I think driving up 96 to Lansing and then down 69 is kind of out of the way, especially when M-14 turns into 94 west in Ann Arbor. I went to WMU and have made the trip a million times. But I don't know... if guys want to meet up that are in other areas, just make a designated "bathroom break" stop before you get out of the metro area.

If they took 696 to 75 S and then 94, then that is extra miles and time. 696, 275, M14 to 94 is also very quick. I've got a brother in Lansing and a sister used to live in IN, South Bend area. I've gone through Lansing before, but it took 20 minutes more than straight I-94. I don't really care which way people go, it's their gas. I wish I could make it out, but it probably won't happen. I think the reason why Roger chose the route was because there is less road obstructions going that way and froma time standpoint it is only a few minutes longer.
From the sounds of things the Dearborn area people are going to be meeting at 12 oaks? I need to know what time and who will be leading the way from there and a contact e-mail address.
The event is going to start around 12:30PM and will end when you leave... seriously the end of the event is open. -Mark

APT CSVT: OK, I thought you were talking about 696 to 75 to 94... Having 14 and 275 in the equation DOES change things around, but just like Mark said, there are more moving obstacles on downtown 75... And sorry to hear you can't make it... Hell, I'll even have an open invite over to my house (OK, a duplex) in POrtage after Big Ts if people want to... we ususally play PS2 and talk car talk until midnight usually. Hell, we put in SVTJOE's B&M shifter ihn my garage one night. AND, people from the forums have to sign the rear bumper I have hanging in the wall, since it was that rear bumper that helped me get my Tru-Dual setup I have today... (kinda like a pioneer bumper if you will... ). It's already signed by a few people in New Jersey and New York.

Mmmmmm, GT3. I've got all the beginner and amature races done. About 78% complete, I think.

What we might want to do is find out exactly who is in the "Dearborn group" and exactly where they live. Dearborn and 12 Oaks aren't exactly near each other, and might be out of the way for some. WorldTour, shoot me an email and maybe we can figure out who is coming from where...

OK, i see SVT124 is from Northville and beyondloaded is in Canton. I'm in Redford. This suggestion is merely that: a suggestion. We can meet at Compuware Arena at Beck Road and M-14. This way we can get right back on M-14 west and be on our merry way. Plus, you're not driving too far north out of your way. Any and all suggestions are welcome. If you want to keep the 12 Oaks meeting place, that's cool too. We've got over a week to figure this out.

I know the route I've come up with is "alittle" out of the way going N but trust me I take this route out to K-Zoo for our meets and its SMOOTH, road obstacles and road quality I'd like to meet up with the Nothville/Plymouth/Canton/Westland/Farmington CEG-ers at the Wendys on Sheldon which is between M-14 and 5 mile, what do you guys around there think about that? I will pull in there with my group around 9:30-9:45 and I'm always ON TIME, just ask BeyondloadedSE, he will tell you Then we can just get on M-14 and take it out to I-94.

So Roger you would like to meet up at the wendys in plymouth sat morning at 930-9:45 am ish? is so that sounds good to me..i'm mean i'm coming from white lake but i'm in plymouth every day so that sounds good...and yes i'm would love to take a smooth road compared to a bumpy one cuz I dont think anybody would like to be behind me while i'm shooting sparks but if we are all serious about this...this will be one very nice long train of tour's and sho's and people's mouths will drop for sure. But we just need to get everybody's name down for a check in list and figure out where we can make a planned stop for bathroom and rest break so nobody will get left behind. And we must remember that when traveling yes it is fun to go fast but you must remember we are represting CEG and there are people that are still gonna be behind everybody and we can not lose anybody or else the whole trip has turned into a bad nightmare. So hopefully we can figure everthing out and everybody will have a good time. :0)
