Hey, I remember a while back you said you worked at Jack Demmer. I just dropped my car off there this morning for some warranty work (actually the warranty runs out today) frown
I just wanted to give you a heads up and say keep an eye out for my car wink. Maybee I'll see you there when I pick up my car.

Andreas,

Ya, I saw it there and all I can say is, very nice. I only work until 3:00 on Wednesdays. It was in the one mechanics stall when I left. Maybe next time we'll run into each other. When did you get those rims? They really look sharp. What suspension setup do you have? What kind of caliper paint did you use? And how did you get your turn signal bulbs to look like that? I've noticed that about your svt before and have tried to replicate it, but haven't had any luck. Sorry about all the questions. Thanks, Geo.

Thanks for the compliments! I got the wheels from Tirerack about 1 1/2 years ago. I used Eibach springs to lower it. To paint the calipers I used Foli-Tech epoxy paint. I've got to say that stuff rules! It's tuff as hell and looks nice and shiney. The turn signal bulbs are pretty easy actually. I just took out the amber bulbs and put a very light coating of silver spraypaint on them. The bulbs still are amber when lit, but are silver when not on. I was worried that the paint would flake off with the heat from the bulb, but after one year the paint is still as new. I'd be happy to help you, if you need it. Geo, I don't live too far from Demmer (Joy/Hix) Maybee we could meet up sometime, I'd love to see your car!

Andreas,

Silver spray paint you say... I tried a couple different types of paint to do the same thing, but no luck. I've wanted to do that ever since I saw your SVT at the dealership a couple of summers ago. If your ever around, I work on Wednesdays until 3:00 and Fridays from 2-6:00. Otherwise, I plan on going up to the SVT/SHO meet on the 29th.
