Hey all, I wanted to introduce myself. I just bought (well about a month ago) a 2000 Silver Contour SVT. I love this car!!! I found the site about 2 weeks ago and have learned a lot via search and reading posts. Great site!
I live in Royal Oak, near Detroit and am looking forward to some CEG functions!
I have a couple questions...Andrew R, I see you live in Royal Oak, where abouts? I am at 12 mile and Woodward. I think I saw you a few weeks back at Crooks and 12 mile. Then again at 12 mile and Rochester (last week).
Also, does anybody work in Southfield at the Thorn Apple Valley building and drive a black Tour SVT??
thanks, Darren

Welcome to the site!! The SE Mich is one of the greatest, and most active chapters (I think so) of the CEG! The meets are fun, and it's cool to put a name with a face! Enjoy! Andy

Welcome Darren,
You probably have seen me around a few times, I'm up and down Woodward constantly (I have the screwed up paint on the rear bumper). I just moved from 13 & Woodward to 11 1/2 and Main. Between CEG, SVT/SHO Society, and SVTOA there are a lot of activites. Unfortunately I haven't done many of them yet. Although I may be at the SVTOA Fall Color Tour on this Saturday for a little bit.
Andrew
Here's the info on the drive this Saturday: SVTOA of South East Michigan is planning our 1st annual fall foliage tour on Saturday 10/13. We will be meeting at Jack Demmer Ford just off Michigan Ave and 275 and then head west through the backroads of Michigan with our final destination being Pauls High Performance in Jackson, MI. There we will have a cookout on Paul's world famous (well at least on the race circuit) grille followed by dyno runs for those that would like to see how much horsepower they are putting to the group. Cost for this event will be $5 per person (to cover lunch expenses) plus $80 for about 30 minutes on the dyno. Paul will also diagnose any vehicles which are on the dyno within the 30 minute window if they have any problems.
If you are interested in attending this rain or shine event please send an email to Mark Wilson (mbwilson7@aol.com) with the number of people in your party as well as if you would like to put your vehicle on the dyno.

This....Is the construct. It's our loading program. We can load NOS, Superchargers. Anything we need.
Right now, we're inside a contour? Is it really so hard to belive? The engine, the sounds are different, the dent in my hood is gone. It is the mental projection, of my digital car.
No but seriously....This is the best Forum in all the CEG! Welcome to it baby!
