64 in a 40, got wrote up for 50

i feel your pain, i gotta ticket about 2 and half weeks ago for driving on the shoulder. $80 ticket and 3 points! and that was the last of my clean driving record.

Dont feel bad boys.
My little brother got a ticket for 60 in a 40, no liscense, no registration and no seatbelt, bringing him to a total of 8 outstanding tickets.

AAA said take him off the insurance or they would drop my whole family from the coverage.

Oh well, I never let him drive the SVT anyways!

My first ticket was for 71 in a 45, so speeding (1), while turning left through a red light (2), which with the speed made my tires squeel (3) and when i went to get my registration, illegal fireworks fell out (4)....needless to say, he wasn't happy still only got written up for running a red light, 80 and 2 points i think. (i think i said all this before...)

OK, here we go.

65mph in a 35 residential (Tempo V6) 16 yrs old. (4 points plus extended probabtion)
75mph in a 55 highway (Tempo V6) 16 yrs old (3 points plus temporary probation*)
85mph in a 55 highway) (Tempo V6) 17 yrs old (4 points plus temporary probation 2yrs)
60mph in a 35 residential (Tempo V6) 17 yrs old (4 points plus the the two previous temporaries)
65mph in a 35 residential (SVT) 21 yrs old (4 points)
85mph in a 45 school zone at 6:00 am (SVT) 23 yrs old (dropped to 55mph *miracle, yes* 2 points)

Over the years, I've found out, cops show up at the darndest times. I was getting audio clips of my car when I got pulled over, was half temped to tape the cop, but figured I'd get into deeper trouble...

*Temporary probation is when they watch for an additional ticket within a certain time period. If you get a ticket within that time period, the cite you the ticket you recently got, AND the old ticket. If not, then the old ticket goes away. Only happened in Riverview twice, second time was lucky...*

at one point I had 33 points on my license, all speeding, careless or reckless tix. Oakland County circuit court judge told me I had the worst driving record he'd ever seen . during those times, the state was talking about revoking my license for 10 years minimum. After 1 1/2 years and over $10,000 spent, my lawyer got my license back for me. I now refer to my lawyer as God.

it was a combination of youth/stupidity and a rule of not letting anyone pass me. needless to say I drive slower than molasses on a monday nowadays unless provoked.

Goin to Best Buy and maybe Mickey Shore. I need a radar decector....good call Roger. Valentine, right? Can anyone hook me up on the price with one....everytime I make a little money, I lose a lot....hehe, that isn't a good thing. :rolleyes:
