My 98 Zetec got creamed while parked on the side of the road by some kid in his '86 Daytona! Here's the worst part - 3 of us were sitting in the car listening to a CD! I saw him coming in the rearview, looked to the side waiting for him to pass, but nope, WHAMMO! Thank god I was in neutral with no emergency brake either! A really big push from standing still to about 40 mph! He ended up on his roof Dukes of Hazzard style after he ramped over my left rear tire. Girlfriend in the back had sore ribs, bruised leg, buddy in passenger seat had a sore neck, my head met the steering wheel with a nasty bump. The kid crawled out the passenger window!
Car was totalled as the trunk now resided right against the back seats, damaged front seats etc. etc. Blessing in disguise - got a 98 SE Duratec with leather for about $300!!! Insurance paid me serious cash, I was amazed!
