The South East Michigan SVTOA is looking at renting out Kart2Kart again on 9/9 and I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in attending. Basically we rent out the track for 3 hours and you drive as much as you want/can for $35. Usually it's $15 for one session so it's a REALLY good deal!
We would like to make it a cruise and have everyone show up with their cars as well so we can all check out each others rides!
Anyone interested?

Its on van Dyke just south of 19mi.. katr2kart.com I believe is the addy.. NECO was thinking of renting out the track for like an hour commin up here.. Just need some more people so we werent gonna pay like $60 each!

Wow that sounds like fun. I want to have a chance to hang out with the SVTOA guys...I missed the on-track event...How did the CSVT do??? I hope they gave the cobras a run..

I actually think the CSVT's upset a few Cobra and Lightning owners. Waterford is a great track for the CSVT as it's really not about power put handling. I was chasing a guy in a Lightning and couldn't get by him on the straight away because either he could out accelerate me or was blocking me. What he didn't understand was that I could easily out brake him and after 3 laps of deep braking his brakes started to smoke and he pulled into the pits. Lightnings have good brakes but stopping over 4000 lbs over and over will definitely tax their brake system more than the CSVT's.
Later he told me that no 4 door 6 cylinder was going to pass him no matter what!
Makes me laugh....
Wish more of you could have been there but the 4 of us that were there had a blast!

Im in, its been a month since I beat Rara at Bondurant Auto-X, so I need to bust his ego for this month.....hehe.
