Now that we are into aerodynamics, I have another question.
Unawiper. What happens to the co-efficent of drag then? Not to mention when you get the ones to match the color of the car? More or less drag? Or is color a variable too???
SOOO MANY QUESTIONS!

Andy, Andy, Andy...when will you learn. So young. Think of it like this. Think of a picture of a rainbow, alright, now take the rainbow...and stop thinking about it. Take the color yellow (thats 6 letters), multiply it by the word fast (4 letters), you get 13. Take the number 13, and multiply it by "horsepower" (10 letters). That alone is a 491 HP gain if you simply do the math. The co-efficent of drag decreases exponentially due to the residual notation of the rotary gerter tiller...

Actually the Unawiper is an interesting phenomenon... it actually creates a vacuum in FRONT of the car because it is so efficient at reducing drag. This vacuum causes the car to simply move forward due to the air pressure difference alone. Hence the need for yellow calipers to hold the car in place when at a stop light. This is why Hondas are so fast. Why just the other day I was at a stop light next to a Honda Civic with a unawiper - I could see the brakes heating up from trying to hold the car still against the pressure gradient. I ALMOST beat him from the light though! I bet if I hadn't started in 3rd and had the parking brake on I may have had a chance... I'm sure his bookshelf wing and windshield banner added a lot more power too, but I bet the wiper was the difference in that race.

Yup, I've made my decision. I'll be dropping a 3805 Pontiac VTEC into my car tomorrow. I have the unawiper ordered, along with my yellow paint/stickers.
Where can I get my wing though? I want it to stick up about 5 feet from the trunk. I heard that getting a triple decker gives more control too!
I can't wait! laugh

Oh good God! Look at this, I don't make post more information for 18 hours and now you want a 5 foot wing. We've been through this. I understand if you want a 5 foot wing, thats fine....but if you do, then you need two of them. Both MUST be triple deckers. One is for the lid of the trunk, obviously, BUT what most people don't know, is one on the hood makes the car go faster. Since there's 2 wings, the car won't know which way is forward and which way is backward cuz it'll be thinking "Wait, isn't the wing supposed to be on the back?" In turn, to make up for not knowing which way is which, it'll make itself work harder...therefor gaining HP and TQ. Also, if you put the engine into the passanger seat, it goes faster....cuz it sounds louder and isn't hooked up to anything to slow it down...

Man, you gotta go back to school... it's "yellow" (6 letters) times "acceleration" (12 letters) times "horsepower" (10 letters). At least that is the equation most people go with at WMU. That totals to 720 hp, not the measly 491 hp. laugh

Steve, you forgot to divide by 1.4663951120162932790224032586558 to get to 491HP. thats the loss after you factor in the ORIGINAL color!
