That is right out by my fiancee's place...
Maybe I will swing by in the XR (since that is my weekend car). I mentioned the meeting to a friend of mine with a Cougar and he wants to swing by and check it out too possibly.
Damn... I guess this means I have to finally clean up the XR... hasn't been cleaned up under the hood since the exploding valve cover gasket incident...

well i heard if you paint your air vents different colors it gives you the option of being able to fly your car or make your tires catch on fire whenever you want them too

The obvious color choice is 'yellow - the color of speed (tm)'.

I was thinking of getting yellow brake calipers to make my car stop faster - anyone know if this will affect the ABS?

Also I want to do yellow plug wires, but I'm worried the spark would get to the plugs too quickly and mess with my timing...

Good thinking! That would have been a problem! Wouldn't wanna screw up that timing!

About stopping faster if you paint your calipers yellow, it will mess with the ABS. But it turns it into AABS (Artificial Anti-lock Brakeing System)....that means when you push the break, the car comes to a dead stop. It's in the testing stage right now, they've been having problems with whip lash (and decapitation)

Hmmmm... I have heard about those problems with stopping TOO quickly... I heard that a solution to that is to get yellow seatbelt pads and headrests. Apparently the covers make your seatbelts pull you back into the seat even more quickly than the brakes can stop the car while the yellow headrest moves more quickly than the rest of the car to come and protect your head/neck from the force of stopping so fast.
