ok so i FINALLY got this baby installed in my car today, me and a freind of mine did it, (he has installed them before) i pulled aussie's instructions on what wires go where.. not sure though if the eec is different (on the 95 as opposed to the 98+) or what. but im not getting the airflow usage % to come up at all, and the throttle postion sensor must be totally pooched because its not giving any kind of consistent readings, first with a multimeter (getting low low voltage) then monitoring it with the s-afc it is giving wacky readings, wich makes tuning impossible (cant set lo/hi throttle position) so what ive done is set hi throttle to like 10% throttle so it still gives my fuel corrections, but i still cant check the AFR for some reason
bah just getting irritated with my new toy =D if anyone could help that would be appreciated, im not used to using this thing
TIA

I hope this helps.

I don't know how much this helps, but I have one on my 95 SHO. My cylinder setting is 6(whatever number of cylinders you have goes here), and the throttle type is ascending(arrow facing up). And I'm pretty sure that the Contour's use a Hot Wire type MAF sensor too. I'm not sure, my Taurus is a little different than your 'Tour. So I would wait for one of the local CSVT gurus to chime in.

my impression was the the afl was measuring how much air was going through the maf or soemthing like that, cause its only giving me readings of MAX 35% at wot,
what i did was just make a static fuel map so no matter how much throttle im using it uses the same amount of correction, of course i rarely go past 4k without flooring it anyways so..
im gonna go take another look at the wires, if anyone has any ideas on why the TPS is not responding.. i think maybe it has a different pin slot for the 95 as opposed to the 98 that the instructions were written for

Your PCM is completely different than a 96+ AFAIK. Do you actually have the same amount of pins as the instructions?
Go to the sensor check screen and watch the voltages - this will tell you if they are working. It's all in the instruction manual - you really should read that.
