Guys if I get rid of my car I am not leaving. I am still going to help out as much as possible just like always. Truthfully a few of you guys have became brothers to me and I fell like this car has brought me many freind ships along the way too. So I need to get rid of it if it does not go soon it will be getting a vortech and more hp than any other car on this board. So of course the price will go up but it might be my best bet to get the money out of it. Sorry to break it to everyone this way but ther is just a few things in life that are more important than my car. Sorry guys

Dave, whatever it is, I know that things come up in life where you have to move on. Here's some advise if you do get rid of it though. Part it out. Sell all the mods seperately and pu tthe car back to stock form. If you dont have some of the stock parts, trade off adn get some money from the guy you are trading with. Honestly, that is the best way to get the most money. Just a suggestion. Good luck with everything.

If you're looking to take Tim's suggestion, I'd try to help out the best I could (by you helping me)and pick up some of your parts for money or a trade back of the stock part or whatever you wanted. We could just trade cars....? Just kidding man...cheer up though.

Sorry to hear that your getting rid of your ride Dave but I too know what your going through, but in a different way. Last spring I sold my 87 GN to pay off my nagging credit cards, what a lesson I taught myself about charging and making the "minimum" payment. A very hard lesson that I relive everytime I go to a car show or see a GN on the road. So all of you younger guys out there and old ones....SCREW credit cards and use them ONLY in emergencies Roger R

Dave, we still need to talk some more. I'll see you in the morning at Doug's.

OUCHHHHH AHHH....IT HURTS.....STOP TALKING LIKE THAT. You have been a great influence to me and my SVT. You are very knowledgable on these cars.....Yours is so cool. You will change your mind when you see what we get for these cars.....All our blood, sweat and tears dont give the car its value to anyone except us....It really hurt when Jeff lost his and was unable to get another one...I cant see you selling it.. AHHHHHH. By the way did you ever get that message that I left you? Hey if ya need some money..... you can....Collect cans! Or you can....Look for change on the ground....Or you can take people for rides in your car and charge them 5bucks everytime the secondaries open....hhahahaahh But on a serious note...If you need to sell it. I will let my friends know...I would ask in the mid to high teens... Seeya Later

Dave,
Tims right, you would probably be better off taking the aftermarket parts off the car and selling them seperate from the car. You potential buyers pool goes WAY down when you try to sell a car as modified as yours.
Sorry to see you selling it but I understand things come up. Hopefully you will be at the SVTOA On-Track on Monday for one last hurrah!!
