Hi there...that would be me. Washed it -once- myself, wife washed it one time too, hosed it down a few times and had a car wash run this spring. That's about it since the dealer cleaned it off when I bought it years ago. Interior is kept clean of course, and the wheels/tires need monthly cleaning also, but the Ford silver metallic sure beats the gloss black/white/candyapple red cars I had in terms of always looking clean. Washed/hosed once or twice a year, it always looks nice and shiny. Nothing beats this finish, IMHO. My black cars were obviously dirty on a weekly basis (even in storage!), although they did look better when washed/waxed it was a senseless hassle, mostly. I wash it just to keep salt and abrasives off...otherwise it always looks shiny. Added bonus is a clean silver sedan is the most nondescript car around...........


98 CSVT, basic mod's, my slowest car yet but still faster than the wife's Talon Tsi AWD. Not by much, though. Now if I could get the back wheels to do something....
