How would you rate this particular dealer? They have a 98 black SVT for sale, and my girlfriend will no longer let me drive her car! Its only $13,949 and has 41,452 miles. It looks nice, but hows the quality of the dealership? Heres the address for the pic: http://a904.g.akamai.net/7/904/506/v0003/images.autobytel.com/cyber/158670/i5412_1.jpg Thanks for any help!

That's too much money for that car. Take it down to $12,500 and then maybe. I tried going through Autobytel and Hungtington Ford for my SVT. They gave me a contact there and he wouldn't even return my call. So I bought mine from a private owner instead.

Wow! Exactly how I found it =) Thanks for the heads up! The SVT would be nice, but if they treat you like that... I dunno we'll see. I'm already looking for a cheaper SE.

Dan Wagner wasn't the guy I tried going through so hopefully he can help you out. What kind of price range are you looking to spend on a 'Tour?

I know I'm new here but I have had my lemon of a contour for 3 years now and I bought it from Huntington Ford. Their service department is the worst I have ever seen! I would have a problem, take it in and get told that it is normal or could not verify concern. Once the warranty ended they mysteriously found the items that I had complained about ealier yet would not cover them now. In my opinion RUN to any dealer other than Huntington!

Huntington Sucks big dick! But Dean Sellers "seams" to be a little better. I hear Jerome Duncan and the dealer in Dearborne are the ones to go to. You could buy the car from them and just not go back. PS I think "I have seen that SVT for sale there and it looked OK from the road.

Well i took a trip dpwn there last night to check out the car. It seems pretty strait (not hit) Paint is in good condition, needs, bracks and tires desperatly. Not bad for a early E0 but they are asking to much. The car seems sound so if you can get then down to like $12,000 I would go for it just remeber rubber and brack are not cheep.
Silver 99 SVT It's Stock. Would I LIE?

Another thing about tires, you get what you pay for, so when the sales guy sez he will "thow on new tires" you should specify the brand and model to make sure you dont get some zippy-the-pinhead-retread or something that sucks. The tires are a big part of why these cars handle and are fun to drive.

I would not let them put tires on it for you for sure! that is what they did with mine and I ended up with 4 Road Rebel's, amazingly they were the right size for the car, after a little research I found out that those tires went for $35 a piece no wonder they didn't last long! Also the cars alignment was messed up when we test drove and they said they'd fix it when we picked it up the alignment was still the same and they denied saying they'd fix it ! Go down to Dean Sellers or even better Elder Ford. I've been going to Elder since the trans went out after Huntington said that it was driving normally. I have yet to have a problem with them.
