Well my brother took the SVT to school last week and on the way home some kid hit him and totalled her. So now I am looking into a new car after losing money on the SVT. I am thinking about a 00 or 01 Audi S4. I have found a couple around the area and really like them. The only draw back is that i'm only 20 and already was paying 195 a month insurance on the SVT. Anybody have any driving experiences with these cars. Also is there anything else out there that performs like the s4 for under 35000. I will be making all the payments so the lower the better!!! Thanks
00 Audi S4 Silver and Black (Bone stock)
98 Toreador Red SVT #742/6535 (Totalled)
KKM induction,Sho-Shop Y pipe, removed resonator, Superchip, B&M Short Shifter, Fog Light Fix 885 Fogs, Xenon Super Whites Clear Corners w/clear bulbs Removed Door Dings, TH Fix, ADR Phase II white 17s and Kumho rubber

Well im not sure about that, the S4 is one nice car:
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 5.9 sec. Braking Distance: 113 ft. Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 2.7 liters Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 250hp @ 5800 rpm Torque: 258ft-lbs. @ 1850 rpm Drive Type: AWD Turning Circle: 37.4 ft
The only thing I was thinking of might stand a chance would be the WRX, but even those numbers aren't as nice, although its a good chukc of change less, but still doesnt look as nice as the S4
Base Number of Cylinders: 4 Base Engine Size: 2 liters Base Engine Type: Horizontally Opposed Horsepower: 227hp @ 6000 rpm Torque: 217ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm Maximum Towing Capacity: 2000 lbs. Drive Type: AWD Turning Circle: 35.4 ft.

If snow isnt a big issue for you, you could get a Camaro Z28. It would roast the s4 or wrx. We are looking at about a 5.2-3 Second 0-60 with a Very low 13 sec quarter. Has 310 horsepower 5.7 liter V8. If you looked good you could get a new one for under 25 grand easily, easily. The new Maximas have 255 horsepower, They are VERY nice, 6 speed, can pull about a six second flat 0-60. You coud get a very upscale one of those for 26000 probably. Or the new Altimas which aer also sweet, 240 horses and just as fast as the maxima, about 28000 loaded. Hope this helps.

IMO, Audi's are way overpriced.

I have driven a 2002 WRX, all I can say is, I wish I could afford one! They may not have the creature comforts of your SVT, but they are quick. I also drove a dealer "demo". This one had an extrude honed turbo, ceramic coated stainless headers, cold air intake, full suspension, no cats, 3" SS exhaust, shorty shifter and a tweaked CPU. That thing hauled a$$!!!! All of these options were available from the dealer for a total of $38,500. The car had over 400 hp. Just food for thought.
95 MTX SHO w/64k A'Pex SAFC, Custom exhaust 2.5" with single exhaust conversion, Sho Shop Y-pipe, Sho Shop cold air intake, 73mm Vortech MAF, race plugs and wires, many guages, Volvo T5R 17"x7" wheels, 10" sub in custom bandpass box, 300 watt Audiobahn amp, front and rear stut tower braces, subframe connectors and Eibach/Tokico setup in the garage, drivers side 4 point harness, some interior painted to match outside, Ventshade hood deflector painted to match car. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=770595&uid=534327
