They are similar to Konis, they increase the performance of the vehicle greatly.

Tires????I don't need no stinkin tires!!!!
I DO have a question that maybe you can answer for me. I have a set of Yoko A430's 255/50/16's on my Vette. I know they have been discontinued but can you tell me anything about them? I bought the car 7 years ago and still have them on.
Although I think they suck in rain, they seem to be pretty darn good overall.
