CHECK THE TITLE!!!!! Sounds like a theft recovery with a odometer role back(aka salvage title) and also the rims were stolen and whoever put the wheels on just found contour rims. Therefore the car is probably only worth 8000 at the very most. But if he is asking 14500 for it, I dont think that he will go down that far. But you can try it and see what he will say about it. Also, if everything is correct the car still should be under warranty and everything should( i said should) get fixed. Good luck!
