I have metalic window tint, so the Valentine1 was useless. You might want to check if you have tint. The metallic tint will totally confuse the V1 because of the reflection of the dual receivers.
I use a Bel 980, I think its in the top 3 with the V1 and 8500. It depends on which test you read. Also the Bel 980 is upgradeable and I send it back yearly to get it recalibrated and upgraded.
