OK, and just how do racecar drivers avoid pile-ups at high speed? And don't day the spotters, the drivers don't close their eyes and steer blindly.

Interesting thoughts, but I don't buy it. Hell, I process, and remember, MORE detail at speed than poking along. Maybe I pay more attention at 90 than 45, but I, and most us here, can process plenty of info at speed.
