sosaudio Member S Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 165 Huntsville, Ala	HEY MRTOAD! Welcome!!!! Pretty sure that the speedometer on a '96 Zetec is electrical. Mine was when I replaced it. Easiest way to tell is to carefully look under the dash and feel behind where the speedometer is and see if you can follow a cable out of the back of the dash. But my '96 Mystique GS did not have the cable. It took all of 15 minutes to replace mine. L8R Rich '96 Mystique, Zetec, MTX. ---Mods--- Removed both intake resonators and airbox. Installed APC air filter and APC crankcase ventilation filter. Removed exhaust resonator. Installed XM Satellite Radio. Replaced bad alternator and 175a fusible link...much fun! Intake plenum---GONE!!!! My car growls louder than yours. If I can't buy it, I'll build it...Trust Me!!!!
