Littlefishie,
who said it wasn't street legal? btw, for more info check the motor trend from last july, too bad the car is no more (no not crashed, don't worry)

Terry, geez, I would love to even see an XJ220, I heard there was a big fiasco with them though, like w/ Jaguar jacking the price at the last minute (like Shelby tried to do on the Series 1) and a bunch of buyers walked leaving Jag w/ a wharehouse full of them.

It's all about balance.

I am pretty sure that magazine, said that the car was not street legal. Something about emissions. I think it said it had to undergo an emissions testing first, and I just interpreted that as "its not street legal".

oh, I see what you mean.
I think the implication was that Ford can't sell them like that, but a one-off for testing is ok.

Here are just two of my dream cars on the top of my list:

1997 BMW 850 Csi (perfect match of luxury and performance - Koenig has a supercharger available for this car that pushes it to 0-100 MPH in 5.0 seconds - no lie)

1993 GMC Typhoon - the fastest production SUV title doesn't say too much but the turbocharged v6 and all wheel drive does.

I forgot about the 850 Csi. I love that car. I think it is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. Did it still exist in 97? I thought it was an 840 model by then.

Had the 91 Typhoon and it will put your eyeballs in the back of your head. Check the Sig it is no more the engine and trannie are in a I think 1980 Chevy LUV pick up that will pull low 10's to 9's est. I think that my two all time favorite cars would have to be the VECTOR, and the Mopar from the movie Wraith. I don't know what kind but man it was awsome.

Hey Rara, so, it seems you have the inside scoop on this car (yay!), so what happened to it? Did they test it out, and then destroy it?
