Things on the west side aren't looking too good for Saturday. The weather forecast is calling for snow basically until Wednesday. Gotta love lake effect. Personally I don't really consider weather forecasts until they get within 24 hours...there's simply too much room for error so I'll have a better word on the situation tomorrow eve. But I also know a little bit about weather, and as long as we have these strong west winds coming in over the lake we'll have snow & snow squalls for almost half the trip. I want to make this trip, but lake effect snows are 2nd only to ice as far as weather I DON'T want to drive in. It can be clear one second, and literally blinding the next. Sadly I won't be able to attend tomorrow The weather is just too bad...I like fast four-door Fords & all, but not enough to run though lake-effect squalls. FYI, we've picked up about 6 inches of snow here in K-zoo in the past 24 hours and it's still snowing...that's about double what they forecasted. At times it's light and other times it's pretty heavy, and it's supposed to stay this way until Wednesday! Welcome to winter weather in michigan! Once again, I'm really sorry to cancel out.
