Huron River Drive is a sweet road. I used to live in Ann Arbor. I had a lot of good runs and one bad one on that road. I especially like the uphill turns when you're heading back to Ann Arbor.
Gotta watch out in Ann Arbor though, cops are viscious with almost no breaks given. I've learned this the hard way.
I took a motorcycle tour this summer and came across what have to be 2 of the best roads in the state. Both are in the northwest corner of the state.
M22 runs from Manistee to the Leelenau peninsula. Nice and twisty and actually some elevation changes.
The other is M119 out of Harbor Springs. I don't know who came up with M119 but he was either insane or a genius. It's about one and a half lanes wide and constantly turning up and down hills.
That would make a nice fall color tour. If the weather ever comes back.
Anyway, I was looking for nice turns in Oakland County. Any suggestions?
